You can say what you want about the Lions success on the field or lack there of, but nobody will ever accuse Ford of threatening to move the team out of Michigan if he didn't get a stadium. I really believe the City of Pontiac, MI, really blew it when Lions Owner William Clay Ford wanted to renegotiate the lease and they failed to do this. We'll begin with the former home of the Detroit Lions, the Pontiac Silverdome. The Pontiac Silverdome and The Highland House Restaurant.
